Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Educator for the East Valley Emergency Department in Phoenix to advance pediatric emergency care.

The role partners with bedside staff, nurse leaders, physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop education plans and strengthen clinical practice in a fast-paced setting. You will assess learning needs, support onboarding and competency validation, and ensure staff maintain knowledge and skills to deliver high-quality pediatric emergency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• Current State of Arizona RN license.
• One year preceptor/leadership experience in the specialty area; two years pediatric nursing experience.
• National Certification in clinical specialty and/or nursing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the educational department to support the departmental strategic plan.
• Collaborates with other disciplines as a change agent and evaluates outcomes.
• Supports ongoing professional development and nursing model of care.
• Plans, implements, and evaluates learning opportunities based on evidence.
• Seeks opportunities to enhance own professional growth and development.
• Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
