Job summary

Inova Health is seeking a Manager of Clinic Operations Management for the Fairfax and Ashburn area to lead operations across pediatric specialty clinics. This is a full-time day shift role, with hours roughly 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The position emphasizes process improvement, patient access, and cross-department collaboration within a leading nonprofit health system. Responsibilities include coordinating provider schedules, ensuring regulatory compliance, and partnering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• 1 year of healthcare leadership experience OR completion of a 12-month healthcare administrative fellowship AND 2 years of healthcare operations experience in ambulatory or hospital settings.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to practice processes and workflows.
• Collaborate with the Director of Outpatient Practices to resolve issues within deadlines.
• Coordinate provider office schedules; monitor patient volumes, access, and service levels.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with federal/state authorities and external governing bodies.
• Partner with Physician Billing, Patient Financial Services, and Medical Records to identify financial improvement opportunities.
• Oversee Outpatient Practice with the Director to ensure performance, including hiring/training and strategic initiatives.
