Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina seeks a Pediatric Interventional Cardiovascular Technologist II for the Pediatric Catheterization Lab. Under limited supervision, you perform complex interventional radiographic procedures from neonates to adults, including heart catheterization and EP studies, ensuring high technical competency and patient safety.

Requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT/CVS or CVT certification, current BLS (PALS and ACLS preferred),

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Sciences, RT or an accredited school for Cardiovascular Technology/CVT.
• Two years of modality-specific experience; must complete Imaging Specialist Clinical Ladder to level III.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist complex interventional radiographic procedures.
• Operate with high technical competency in cath lab, EP studies, ablations and related procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
