Job summary

The MUSC Pediatric Cardiac Cath and EP Lab is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist II to perform complex interventional procedures across neonates to adults in two state-of-the-art labs, supported by a dedicated prep and recovery unit.

Under limited supervision, the RT will handle heart catheterization, EP studies, ablations, and hybrid procedures with initiative and high technical competency. Licensure and certifications listed are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiological Sciences program or CVT training.
• ARRT, CVIS, CRT, RCIS or CVT certifications required.
• Current BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications.
• Licensure from SC Radiation Quality Standards Association is required; CVT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist complex interventional procedures in the cath lab and EP lab.
• Support cardiovascular interventional procedures from neonate to adult congenital patients, including catheterization, electrophysiology studies, and ablations.
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced radiographic and cardiovascular imaging equipment; maintain patient safety and quality standards.
