Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a Pediatric Interventional Cardiology Radiologic Technologist III for the Pediatric Catheterization Lab. Reporting to the Cath Lab Supervisor and Imaging Manager, you will perform and assist complex procedures with high technical proficiency and ensure safe ionizing radiation use for neonates through geriatrics.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Sciences program (RT) or CVT.
• ARRT, CVIS, CRT or CVT certification.
• Current BLS; PALS and ACLS within 6 months.
• Two years modality-specific experience; ladder level III.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist complex cardiovascular interventional procedures.
• Ensure safe use of ionizing radiation in neonate through geriatric patients.
• Support heart catheterization, electrophysiology studies, and ablations.
• Rotate through advanced modality skill sets and maintain competency.
