Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Pediatric Cardiac Cath and EP Lab is seeking a Pediatric Interventional Cardiovascular Technologist II. You will perform and assist complex interventional procedures, including heart catheterizations and EP studies, while ensuring patient safety and radiation protection.

Under supervision, you will rotate through labs supporting neonates to adults, with on-call requirements and a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Sciences, RT or CVT.
• ARRT, CVIS, CRT or CVT certification required.
• Current BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications recommended; revalidation annually.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist complex cardiovascular interventional procedures in cath lab and EP lab.
• Maintain safety and proper use of ionizing radiation for neonate to adult congenital patients.
• Demonstrate high technical competency and initiative under limited supervision.
