Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1 year of medical clerical experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy required.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card at the time of hire for specified Banner facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform receptionist/clerical duties to support department efficiency and flow of information.
• Process patient admissions, bed assignments, and labels; arrange outside records as needed.
• Maintain complete patient records and ensure charting forms are accessible.
• Coordinate patient appointments and procedures to support timely discharge.
• Maintain supplies and monitor equipment; interact with staff, patients, and families.
