Job summary

Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC seeks a Patient Care Technician to support the multidisciplinary health care team. You will perform basic nursing care activities under the RN, maintain a safe and clean patient area, and assist with patient flow and staff needs.

Minimum education includes a High School Diploma or GED with 1 year of healthcare experience preferred, pediatric experience ideal. CNA/EMT/CPCT and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year healthcare experience preferred, pediatrics ideal.
• Basic computer skills including typing and email.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic nursing activities under RN direction.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, stocked patient care setting.
