Job summary

Blackbird Health is seeking an Autism Evaluator to conduct neurodevelopmental diagnostic evaluations (ADOS-2, ASRS, CARS-2) and provide ongoing psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and young adults in a hybrid work model.

The role balances testing and therapy with flexible hours, onsite at least 2 days per week and some remote work. Active PA licenses (LCSW/LPC/LMFT) are required, with collaboration across a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active, independent LCSW/LPC/LMFT license in Pennsylvania.
• Minimum 2+ years of clinical care experience with children and families.
• Exceptional clinical writing and diagnostic documentation skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct neurodevelopmental diagnostic evaluations focusing on autism spectrum assessments (ADOS-2, ASRS, CARS-2).
• Synthesize data into clear, clinically sound diagnostic conclusions.
• Deliver compassionate feedback to clients and families with recommendations.
• Manage progress notes within 24 hours and oversee reports and appointments.
• Communicate findings to the care team and participate in weekly consultations.
