Job summary

Blackbird Health is seeking an Autism Evaluator (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) on a contract/1099 basis. The role blends neurodevelopmental diagnostic evaluations with ongoing psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and families.

Expect a hybrid schedule, with at least 2 days onsite and remote work possible for remaining responsibilities. Applicants should hold PA licensure and have 2+ years of clinical experience, strong diagnostic documentation, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active independent LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license in Pennsylvania.
• Minimum 2+ years delivering clinical care to children, adolescents and families.
• Exceptional clinical writing and diagnostic documentation skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct neurodevelopmental diagnostic evaluations focusing on autism spectrum assessments (ADOS-2, ASRS, CARS-2).
• Synthesize, interpret and formulate clear diagnostic conclusions.
• Deliver family feedback with recommendations and care pathways.
• Manage evaluation timelines: progress notes within 24 hours; oversee report-writing and scheduling.
• Provide direct psychotherapy to pediatric and young adult clients.
• Perform biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
