Job summary

Children’s National Hospital in the United States is seeking an Ambulatory Patient Care Tech to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team under RN supervision. You will perform basic nursing tasks, assist with patient flow, and help maintain a clean and safe clinic environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CNA/CPCT or EMT/CPCT certification and BLS. Prior pediatric or acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in an acute health care setting preferred.

• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Collect data and document information for meaningful use and vital signs.
• Assist in basic nursing care and patient flow.
• Maintain equipment and supplies; ensure clean, safe environment.
• Assist with specimen collection and lab tasks as applicable.
• Communicate with patients, families and staff to coordinate care.
• Meet Joint Commission/DOH documentation requirements.
