Job summary

Children's Wisconsin is seeking an Ambulatory Care Team Assistant at the Milwaukee Main Campus Mental Health Walk-In Clinic. The role provides clerical and clinical support, including scheduling patient appointments and tests, managing phone calls, and aiding in clinic workflow.

The position requires a High School graduate (GED/HSED) with 1+ year healthcare experience; Bachelor's or Associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist clinical team by preparing for clinic, completing paperwork, and ensuring radiographs and studies are available for appointments.
• Schedule patient appointments and diagnostic testing using the scheduling system; manage no-shows and wait lists.
• Communicate with patients and families with excellent customer service while maintaining confidentiality.
• Support clinic operations by monitoring the daily schedule and assisting with patient flow and rooming.
• Use electronic information systems to support patient care and clinic operations.
