Job summary

Children’s Wisconsin in Milwaukee is seeking a part-time Clinical Support Assistant to help with clinic operations in the Milwaukee Mental Health Walk-In Clinic and Connections Clinic. You will prepare exam rooms, collect patient information, and assist with care under supervision.

This role requires high school diploma or GED, BLS certification, and Wisconsin MA registry or CMA/MA certification; prior pediatric experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED/HSED required.
• Currently registered with Wisconsin Registry for Nursing Assistants or CMA/MA certification (or similar).
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
• Previous pediatric healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and direct patients to exam rooms.
• Record patient height, weight and vital signs.
• Assist with procedures and patient care as directed.
• Collect and label specimens; transport to departments.
• Support clinic operations and maintain clean, safe environment.
• Greet patients and verify demographics and insurance.
