Children’s Wisconsin is seeking a Care Team Assistant for the Mental Health Walk-In Clinic in Milwaukee. This casual, part-time role supports clinical operations, scheduling, and patient flow during 4pm-8:30pm weekdays and weekend shifts.

A high school diploma or GED is required, with healthcare experience preferred. You will handle paperwork, patient communications, and use electronic systems to ensure smooth clinic operations while maintaining confidentiality and a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s/Associate preferred.
• 1+ years related experience in healthcare or clerical environment preferred.
• Proficient data entry with accuracy and speed; strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical and clinical support for assigned mental health clinics.
• Schedule patient appointments and tests; manage phone calls and in baskets.
• Maintain clinic environment and assist in communication to support workflows.
• Communicate with patients and families with confidentiality and courtesy.
• Support clinic operations and monitor daily schedules, no-shows, and waits.
