Job summary

Pediatric Home Service is seeking a full-time Admissions Representative in the Kansas City, KS area. You will handle intake of Durable Medical Equipment (DME), coordinate new product requests, and manage the CS helpdesk while supporting on-call coverage.

The role emphasizes customer service, critical thinking, and teamwork to serve medically fragile children and families. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience with Brightree EHR are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or 1–6 months related experience and/or training.
• DME intake/admissions experience preferred.
• Exceptional organization, multitasking, problem solving and communication.
• Experience with Brightree EHR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform intake of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) via Brightree.
• Coordinate New Product Request process.
• Coordinate activities of the Customer Service helpdesk.
• Perform duties of the Coordinator of the Day (COD).
• Obtain new patient referrals and supporting documentation.
• Obtain insurance information and benefits for products/services.
• Enter patient and prescriber information accurately.
• Coordinate intake for specialized organizations.
• Support on-call staff in evenings and Saturdays.
• Address billing or service complaints and escalate as needed.
