Job summary

Pediatric Home Service is seeking a full-time Admissions Representative to join our Customer Service team. This in-office role supports intake of DME, scheduling, billing paperwork, and coordinating referrals while delivering compassionate service to medically fragile children and their families.

You should be highly organized, able to multitask, and communicate clearly. Brightree EHR experience is a plus. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, in office, with on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or 1–6 months of related experience and/or training.
• Durable medical equipment (DME) intake/admissions experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills; strong keyboard skills.
• Experience in Brightree EHR is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Performs intake of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) through Brightree.
• Coordinates the New Product Request process.
• Coordinates activities of the Customer Service helpdesk.
• Performs duties of the Coordinator of the Day (COD).
• Obtains new patient referrals.
• Obtains insurance authorization information for products/services.
• Obtains ongoing patient supply orders.
• Obtains prescriber orders for products/services.
• Reads orders to determine items to move, gather, or distribute.
• Coordinates service for evening deliveries.
• Process and coordinates paperwork from items delivered for intake.
• Prepare patient paperwork for billing.
• On-call duties/rotation may be required.
• Other duties as assigned
