Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health seeks a Paraprofessional Technician to support pediatric ABA services at Children\'s Specialized Hospital in Somerset, NJ. Under supervision of BCBA and licensed psychologists, you will help deliver therapy and collect data in a collaborative care team.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED; a Bachelor\'s degree is a plus, and current BLS certification. You will engage with families and school staff to ensure treatment continuity and demonstrate compassionate,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in child development, psychology, or related field is a plus
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification is required
• Experience with developmental disabilities or pediatric feeding disorders in educational, instructional, or therapeutic settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct dedicated therapy sessions with patients under direct guidance of a BCBA.
• Assist with development and deployment of skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction programs.
• Organize, maintain, and enter treatment data into spreadsheets to graph and report progress.
• Assist in training parents, school personnel, and caregivers for treatment continuity.
• Prepare initial drafts of session materials, progress notes, and behavioral observations in measurable terms.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of department materials and support clinical research activities.
