Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Lead Paraprofessional Technician to support pediatric ABA services at the RU Cares clinic within Children\'s Specialized Hospital. The role focuses on structured therapy sessions, program deployment, data tracking, and collaborative care with BCBA/psychologists.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, BLS certification, and experience with developmental disabilities or pediatric feeding disorders.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Preference for individuals actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in child development, psychology, or related behavioral health field.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• ABA Therapy Execution under direct guidance of BCBA or licensed psychologist.
• Program implementation and tracking of behavior-reduction and skill-acquisition programs.
• Data collection, entry, progress graphs, and initial analysis for supervision.
• Clinical documentation of session materials, progress notes, and observations.
• Assist training of parents, school personnel, and caregivers for treatment continuity.
• Support daily patient intake, functional assessment, and discharge procedures.
• Maintain organization and safety in treatment spaces and model safety protocols.

Education
