Job summary

Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an ABA Technician to support treatment plans and patient care within an interdisciplinary team.

You will assess needs, implement behavior plans under a BCBA, and document progress to help children, adults and families achieve meaningful outcomes. Excellent communication and reliability are essential to this role.

Qualifications

• RBT certification is preferred.
• BCABA certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
• Understanding of current ABA therapy principles.
• Graduate education in Psychology, Social Work or related health field desired.

Responsibilities

• Assess, create, and implement behavior plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Reviews behavior plans for progress and efficacy.
• Establish a positive working relationship with patients, parents and family members.
• Maintain a positive relationship with assigned patients and their families.
• Technicians must function as a member of the treatment team.
• Apply ABA processes for behavior modification.
• Must maintain annual training and demonstrate competency in required programmatic training.
• Provide support as needed to client and family.
• Performs other duties or functions as assigned.
