Job summary

Pine Rest in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a Behavioral Technician for the Pediatric Center of Behavioral Health. This onsite role supports children and families with safety, crisis intervention, and daily living activities in a state-of-the-art center.

You will document progress, assist with personal care, and help implement treatment plans while engaging families in care and education. This is a full-time, onsite position with diverse shifts.

Qualifications

• Completion of six months post high school education in behavioral sciences or equivalent preferred.
• CNA certification or 1–2 years of college education preferred.
• Ability to work onsite and participate in safety and crisis interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and secure environment for clients and staff.
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities as needed.
• Document progress notes and medication administration accurately.
• Participate in safety management, crisis intervention, and de-escalation.
• Support treatment plans and family education within the program.
