Job summary

Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Behavior Analyst to join our hospital-based team. You’ll develop and oversee behavior plans, assess needs, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary group to support individuals in hospital, community, and home settings.

The role emphasizes coaching caregivers, using data to drive decisions, and delivering individualized interventions that build skills and independence.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in behavior analysis or related field.
• BCBA certification required.
• Two years of experience as a behavior analyst or related field preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business software.

Responsibilities

• Partner with multidisciplinary teams to understand behavioral needs and develop effective, individualized approaches to care.
• Conduct and oversee functional behavioral assessments to guide treatment and behavior support planning.
• Develop practical behavior support plans and goals in hospital settings.
• Provide consultation and coaching to hospital staff, caregivers, and support networks.
• Train staff and caregivers in evidence-based behavioral strategies.
• Develop and monitor behavioral programming to build skills and independence.
• Provide ongoing support to ensure interventions are implemented and adjusted as needed.
• Establish meaningful progress tracking and use data to inform clinical decisions.
• Serve as a behavioral health resource to staff, families, and community partners.
• Build strong relationships with individuals and families while promoting dignity and inclusion.
