Job summary

Proud Moments ABA is a national behavioral health organization providing ABA services for children from birth to age 21. We are seeking Behavior Technicians to join our team. You will provide 1-1 in-home treatment in partnership with BCBAs, supporting clients and families in a home-based setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience working with children preferred.
• Prior experience providing support to children or adults with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs preferred.
• Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is preferred, though comprehensive training will be provided.
• Reliable transportation with ability to commute to assigned work locations.
• HIPAA confidentiality awareness and company policies adherence.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to follow detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client in their home to implement behavioral plans designed by BCBA.
• Collect data to monitor progress and report progress.
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors.
• Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties.
• Physically keep up with clients as they move about the session area, involving activities like standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, and running.
