Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking licensed Professional Engineers who can balance business development with technical execution in Colorado Springs. You will grow a book of clients while reviewing data, sealing reports, and coordinating testing schedules with the in-house laboratory.

You will lead client meetings, negotiate terms, and represent the firm at industry events. A PE license and a proven ability to win work are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Active PE license required in the posting state or by comity within 90 days.
• 6+ years in construction materials testing, geotechnical engineering, or special inspection.
• Record of bringing in work or credible market plan.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a book of clients for materials testing, special inspection, and geotechnical services.
• Scope, price, and write proposals; negotiate terms; convert opportunities into signed work.
• Serve as engineer of record on projects you win: review data, seal reports/letters, resolve issues.
