Job summary

829 Studios is seeking a Director of Business Development – Private Equity to open the PE market, build sponsor relationships, and drive a steady monthly pipeline of qualified opportunities. You’ll work with the CEO, founders, and AEA to shape ICP, pricing, and program design, guiding opportunities from outreach to signed programs.

You will partner with sales to close deals, enable partners with win stories, and scale the channel with a data-driven playbook.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in business development, partnerships, or sales — PE channel preferred.
• Proven ability to build and manage a multi-step pipeline.
• Strong relationships with private equity partners and portfolio teams.

Responsibilities

• Build a new channel with the CEO and AEA to shape ICP, pricing, packaging, and program design.
• Open warm introductions via AEA, position 829 to PE sponsors, and drive visibility across the PE ecosystem.
• Generate monthly pipeline for sponsor-backed opportunities and drive outbound to uncaptured targets.
• Collaborate with sales to move opportunities to signed programs and build scalable playbooks.
