First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts in Hampton Roads, Virginia. Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN License.
• Minimum 2 years of PCU nursing experience in last 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient conditions in PCU.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and status changes.
• Administer medications and IV therapies.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Follow hospital infection-control and safety standards.
• Educate patients and families on care plans.
• Adapt to different patient care units as needed.
