First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU Telemetry RNs for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. You choose shifts that fit your life, with 7a-7p and 7p-7a options, and daily/weekly pay advantages.

Expect competitive per diem pay, flexible scheduling, and hospital-based opportunities supported by a responsive local staffing team. You must hold a Virginia RN license and current BLS/ACLS, with relevant PCU experience.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Follow infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge plans.
• Adapt to different hospital units and environments.
