First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is hiring PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. Earn $56.25-$57.25/hour, with the freedom to choose shifts that fit your life.

Whether you want occasional shifts or a fuller schedule, you decide when to work. Per diem pay options include daily and weekly payments, with hospital-based opportunities and a locally focused staffing team.

Formación

• Active Virginia RN license
• Minimum 2 years of PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
• Current AHA BLS
• Current AHA ACLS
• Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold within past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
• Additional credentials may be required based on facility assignment

Responsabilidades

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments
