Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Night Shift Registered Nurse (RN) to float between Telemetry PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown units on an onsite contract. Expect 12-hour nights, 3 days per week, with a 1:4 patient ratio and on-call flexibility as needed. Must hold an RN license and have telemetry experience.

Clinical duties include cardiac monitoring, rhythm interpretation, IV therapy, central/peripheral line care, and adherence to Heparin protocols. ACLS/BLS certifications preferred; NIHSS knowledge a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN with current credentials.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• 2 year(s) of RN clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nightly RN coverage in Telemetry/PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown units.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies.
• Administer IV medications and manage cardiac drips.
• Perform IV therapy/Phlebotomy and central/peripheral line care.
• Follow Heparin protocols and use vasoactive drips appropriately.

Department Uniform/Dress:

a. The dress code for licensed nursing personnel (RN, LVN) is solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire. (Scrub tops may have colored piping.) Print tops are not acceptable attire except for licensed staff in the Children's Hospital (PED, Pedi, PICU, NICU). Women's Services (L&D, Mom/ Baby) will meet the requirements for their unit specific scrub attire.

b. The dress code for unlicensed personnel (US, CNA, PCA, NT, MT) is solid hunter green colored uniforms or scrub attire. Print tops are not acceptable except in the areas noted above.
