Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a qualified RN for IMCU/Step Down (Req 11012) to provide bedside care on the night shift. The position involves floating between units, 12-hour shifts, and 3 days per week, onsite at our Texas facility.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of Progressive Care or IMC/Stepdown experience, familiarity with cardiac drips and post cath care, and be comfortable with EPIC charting. ACLS/BLS and CPI are preferred certifications.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Progressive Care or IMC/Stepdown experience preferred.
• Experience with cardiac drips and post cath care is desirable.
• ACLS, BLS, CPI and NIHSS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Float between IMCU/Step Down units as needed.
• Provide 12-hour night-shift care (3 days/week) onsite.
• Follow hospital protocols and care plans for cardiac and post-procedural patients.

Department Uniform/Dress:

a. The dress code for licensed nursing personnel (RN, LVN) is solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire. (Scrub tops may have colored piping.) Print tops are not acceptable attire except for licensed staff in the Children's Hospital (PED, Pedi, PICU, NICU). Women's Services (L&D, Mom/ Baby) will meet the requirements for their unit specific scrub attire.

b. The dress code for unlicensed personnel (US, CNA, PCA, NT, MT) is solid hunter green colored uniforms or scrub attire. Print tops are not acceptable except in the areas noted above.
