Job summary

SourcePro Search, LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Great Falls, MT. This full-time, on-site role supports a specialized clinical team with favorable nurse-to-patient ratios and strong administrative backing.

The PCU RN provides direct care to stable to predictably unstable patients, handles pre/post procedures, and collaborates across disciplines. Candidates should possess ICU/PCU or stepdown experience and current Montana RN licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Montana or immediate compact/endorsement eligibility.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (or obtained within 6 months).
• Recent ICU/PCU or step-down nursing experience; pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized, direct nursing care to hemodynamically stable or predictably unstable patients on an advanced medical/surgical and stepdown unit.
• Manage a broad and diverse patient population, including pre/post-PCI care and complex surgical cases.
• Utilize assessment and intervention tools to monitor for deterioration and stabilize conditions.
• Operate and manage advanced medical equipment, including arterial/central lines and chest tubes.
• Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from admission to discharge planning.
• Act as a clinical floor leader, precepting new staff and supporting CNAs and LPNs.
