Job summary

First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. You can pick up shifts that fit your life and enjoy flexible scheduling with multiple shift times, including 7a-7p and 7p-7a.

Earn $56.25–$57.25 per hour with per diem pay options and daily/weekly payout. Join a locally owned staffing team known for responsive service and hospital-based opportunities.

Qualifications

• Virginia RN license active and current.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within past 4 years.
• AHA BLS certification current.
• AHA ACLS certification current.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test result current.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions in PCU settings.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and patient status changes.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records in a timely manner.
• Follow infection-control and patient-safety standards.
