First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. You’ll have the freedom to pick shifts that fit your life, with competitive per diem pay and options for daily or weekly pay.

Requirements include an active Virginia RN license, 2 years of recent PCU experience, and current BLS/ACLS. QuantiFERON-TB Gold and COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption are required.

Qualifications

• Virginia RN License active and in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing in past 4 years.
• AHA BLS Current certification required.
• AHA ACLS Current certification required.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions in PCU.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and patient status changes.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams.
• Maintain timely EMR documentation and infection control.
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge plans.
• Adapt to different hospital units as needed.
