First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital opportunities in the Hampton Roads area. You set your schedule, choosing day or night shifts, with per diem pay and convenient daily/weekly options.

Candidates must hold an active Virginia RN license and have PCU experience in the past four years, plus BLS and ACLS certifications. QuantiFERON-TB Gold within 12 months and COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption are required.

Qualifikationen

• Active Virginia RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current BLS - American Heart Association (AHA).
• Current ACLS - American Heart Association (AHA).
• Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.

Aufgaben

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in an acute care hospital setting.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and other specialized equipment required for PCU patients.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Follow hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety guidelines.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Adapt professionally to different hospital environments and unit needs.
