First Choice Nurses in Hampton Roads, Virginia, is hiring PCU registered nurses for per diem hospital shifts. You select shifts from 7a-7p or 7p-7a and enjoy flexible scheduling and pay options.

Requirements include Virginia RN license, 2 years PCU experience, BLS and ACLS, and the QuantiFERON TB Gold test within 12 months; COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required. Per diem pay is $56.25–$57.25 per hour with mobile scheduling.

Competenze

• Active Virginia RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing within the last 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.

Mansioni

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments.
