First Choice Nurses is hiring experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. Salary ranges from $56.25 to $57.25 per hour.

Choose your own schedule with 7a-7p and 7p-7a shifts. You decide how much you work—even one shift per month—and daily or weekly pay options are available.

Requirements include active Virginia RN license, 2 years PCU experience in the past 4 years, BLS, ACLS, TB test within 12 months, and vaccination or approved exemption.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license.
• Minimum 2 years PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS.
• Current AHA ACLS.
• Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in acute-care hospital PCU units.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and patient status.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Follow infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educate patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapt professionally to different hospital units and environments.
