First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts in Hampton Roads, Virginia. Shifts include 7a-7p and 7p-7a, with flexible scheduling and competitive per diem pay.
You will choose shifts that fit your life and work across hospital units. Requirements include a Virginia RN license, current BLS/ACLS, 2 years PCU experience in the last 4 years, QuantiFERON-TB Gold, and COVID-19 vaccination or exemption.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Virginia.
- Minimum 2 years PCU nursing experience in past 4 years.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- QuantiFERON-TB Gold test completed.
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.
Responsabilités
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and patient status changes.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments.
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
- Follow infection-control and patient-safety standards.
- Educate patients and families on care and discharge plans.
- Adapt to different hospital units and environments.
