The role requires a high level of clinical skill, compassion for diverse patients, and the ability to mentor others in safe patient handling, de-escalation, and point-of-care testing. Qualifications

• Education - High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience - 2 years nursing assistant, PCT, or healthcare experience required; advanced skills training acceptable in lieu of experience.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - healthcare knowledge, delegated tasks execution, daily living assistance, patient safety, patient-and-family-centered practice, cultural awareness, effective communication, and partnership with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under supervision of licensed clinical team members.
• Promote a safe patient care environment and assist with equipment and supplies as needed.
• Participate in training and coaching of other staff on supplies, equipment use, and best practices.
• Support transfer and positioning needs in acute care settings and assist with de-escalation when required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in managing bladder scanning, catheterization, and essential clinical tasks.
