Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician II for 7C Surg/Trauma, a full-time rotating role based in Center City Philadelphia. You will provide advanced patient care under the supervision of licensed clinicians, with emphasis on safety, de-escalation, and team collaboration.

The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of nursing assistant or healthcare experience, BLS certification, CPCT credentials, and a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced surgical/trauma

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 2 years nursing assistant/PCT or healthcare experience required.
• BLS and CPCT certifications required; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under licensed clinicians.
• Assist with patient safety and comfort, and de-escalation as needed.
• Train and mentor staff on supplies and equipment use.
• Support unit operations and manage supplies to ensure efficiency.
• Act as a resource for patient handling and mobility assistance.
