Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days as a condition of employment.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic Medical Terminology knowledge.
• Must remain calm under stress or in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear, timely communication to the RN regarding patient observations (vital signs, skin condition, mental status).
• Maintain constant observation of high-risk patients as assigned.
• Contribute to a safe environment and assist in de-escalation; apply restraints per training if needed.
