The PCT Coach provides leadership and mentoring to other direct care staff in the areas of building therapeutic relationships, providing trust-building, strength based individualized care that is consistent with the child's treatment plan, and using the least restrictive interventions necessary while upholding the rights and dignity of children and their families at all times. Provides direct care to psychiatric minor patients while modeling and coaching other staff on positive work habits as they relate to patient care, and as such this position is considered "essential" and is expected to report as scheduled during emergency events.
Previous experience in a similar position assisting with the treatment of child and adolescent mental health issues, and/or knowledge of child and adolescent mental health issues and resources from other training source preferred
