The Commonwealth of Virginia’s Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services seeks a full-time Registered Behavioral Technician (CCCA) to support acute psychiatric evaluation, crisis stabilization, and short-term treatment for children and their families at the Community Center for Child & Adolescent.

The role requires completion of Agency-approved training, rapid acquisition of RBT certification within 60 days, and experience with autism spectrum disorders and intellectual

Qualifications

  • Ability to acquire and maintain the Registered Behavioral Technician Certification within 60 days of employment through the Behavioral Analysis Certification Board.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Experience working with individuals with all levels of intellectual disability, and with individuals who have significant impairment related to symptoms of autism spectrum disorder and/or developmental abilities.
  • Ability to mentor, coach and support multidisciplinary team to implement behavioral strategies.
