Job summary
Cumberland County Conservation District seeks an experienced Engineer to conduct engineering reviews of Post Construction Stormwater Management (PCSM) plans that accompany all new or renewed NPDES permits for stormwater discharges associated with construction activities within the county, in accordance with applicable laws and procedures.
The role requires PA PE licensure and a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering; PE license required.
- Must maintain current PA PE registration.
- 5 years of experience in Chapter 102 Erosion & Sedimentation Control / PCSM preferred.
Responsibilities
- Educate and provide outreach on PCSM and NPDES programs.
- Receive, assess, and resolve PCSM complaints before NOT.
- Review PCSM plans as a PA-registered PE.
- Provide PCSM reviews under municipal agreements.
- Inspect PCSM BMPs and complete inspection reports on-site during construction.
- Forward complaints to DEP Regional Office after termination.
- Coordinate with Ag/PCSM Engineer on findings.
- Provide technical assistance to contractors and technicians.
- Perform other duties as required.
