Job summary

The Cumberland County Conservation District seeks a PE-licensed engineer to perform reviews of PCSM plans for NPDES-permitted stormwater activities and to provide education on PCSM programs. This exempt, full-time role requires PA licensure and strong regulatory knowledge.

The position focuses on engineering reviews, inspections, and collaboration with municipalities, DEP, and other agencies to ensure compliance with PA stormwater standards. Salary is negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
PE exam completion and PE license required.
Must maintain current registration as a Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
5 years of experience in the Chapter 102 Erosion & Sedimentation Control/Post-Construction Stormwater Management Program preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide education and outreach on PCSM and NPDES programs.
Receive, process and conduct engineering reviews of PCSM plans as a PA-registered PE.
Coordinate reviews under municipal/governmental agreements and with DEP as needed.
Perform site inspections of PCSM BMPs and complete inspection reports.
Assist contractors and technicians with PCSM reviews and provide technical guidance.
