Job summary

Lebanon County Conservation District is seeking a District Engineer in Lebanon County to oversee post-construction stormwater management and erosion control programs, advise on regulatory compliance, and coordinate with DEP. You will review plans, supervise staff, and prepare district reports.

Ideal candidates have PA PE license, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to testify in court. Office hours are typical, with occasional evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed PA Professional Engineer with current license.
• Experience with NPDES, erosion & sediment control, and stormwater programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to testify when needed.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to DEP and district delegation level 2 responsibilities in Erosion & Sediment Control and NPDES programs.
• Attend pre-application meetings and perform plan review site visits.
• Review NPDES submissions for conformity with regulations and prepare comments.
• Oversee staff including technician and NPDES administrative specialist.
• Prepare monthly district reports and support annual performance reviews.
