Job summary

St. Joseph Hospice is hiring a PCR Sales Representative to join our patient care team in Houston, TX. The role focuses on building referral networks with physicians and discharge planners while maintaining territory goals and delivering compelling presentations.

You will engage in daily visits to hospitals, physician offices, and SNFs to educate stakeholders about home health options, supported by ESOP ownership and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field; or two years of progressive sales/marketing experience.
At least four years of medical marketing experience, preferably hospice.
Documented sales success with verifiable results.
General computer skills including Microsoft Office.
Formal sales training is a plus.
Cold calling experience for business development.
Must be ethical, self-motivated, and a team player.

Responsibilities

Build sales relationships by daily interactions with physicians and discharge planners at hospitals to drive referrals.
Conduct market analysis to align referral targets with census goals.
Maintain a defined sales territory and execute routines for cold calling and account planning.
Deliver public presentations to organizations, healthcare professionals, and executives.
Visit physician offices, hospitals, and post-acute facilities to educate about home health options.

Essential Duties Include

Build sales relationships by daily interactions with physicians and discharge planners at the hospital to ensure referral/admissions
Maintain consistency with market analysis, reflecting referral source targets
Maintain sales territory in order to meet census goals and comfortable with sales techniques such as cold calling and contact planning.
Public speaking, give presentations to organizations, businesses, healthcare professionals (MD’s, RN’s, Hospital Executives)
Daily visits physician offices/hospitals/assisted livings facilities and SNF’s to educate and inform referral sources and patients of home health options

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or have two years of progressive experience in marketing and sales
At least four years of’ medical marketing experience, preferably hospice.
Documented sales success: Candidates should have verifiable sales success/awards from previous positions
General Computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Experience with formal sales training preferred
Cold calling as well for business generation
Must be a highly ethical, self-motivated team player
