Job summary

St. Joseph Hospice in the Vicksburg, MS area is seeking a PCR Sales Representative to join the patient care team.

The role focuses on building relationships with physicians, discharge planners, and hospital staff to drive referrals and admissions for home health services. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration or Marketing or has four years of medical marketing experience, with a proven sales record and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or two years of progressive experience in marketing and sales.
• At least four years of medical marketing experience, preferably hospice.
• Documented sales success with verifiable awards from previous positions.
• General computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience with formal sales training preferred.
• Cold calling for business generation.
• Highly ethical, self-motivated team player.

Responsibilities

• Build sales relationships by daily interactions with physicians and discharge planners at the hospital to ensure referrals/admissions
• Maintain alignment with market analysis, reflecting referral source targets
• Maintain sales territory to meet census goals and employ sales techniques such as cold calling and contact planning
• Public speaking and presentations to organizations, businesses, and healthcare professionals (MDs, RNs, hospital executives)
• Daily visits to physician offices, hospitals, assisted living facilities and SNFs to educate and inform referral sources and patients of home health options
