Hire Consulting Services in Newark, CA seeks a Test Engineering Manager to lead its Test Engineering team in a high-volume electronics environment. You will guide PCBA testing, including Functional Test, ICT, and Flying Probe testing, ensuring robust coverage, manufacturing readiness, and product quality.

You will mentor engineers, define test strategies, and collaborate with NPI, Manufacturing, Quality, and Design teams to improve test efficiency, yields, and overall performance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ Electronics or a related field is required.
• 8+ years of test engineering experience in EMS/PCBA/electronics manufacturing.
• 3+ years of experience leading or managing engineering teams.
• Strong expertise in PCBA Functional Testing, ICT, and Flying Probe Testing.
• Experience with test program development, fixtures, validation, and processes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Test Engineers with clear priorities and timelines.
• Define test engineering strategies, standards, and best practices across programs.
• Manage resources and deliverables to support production and customer commitments.
• Oversee PCBA test strategy development for Functional Test, ICT, and Flying Probe.
• Drive root-cause analysis to improve test reliability, yields, and cycle times.
• Collaborate with NPI, Manufacturing, Quality, Design Engineering, and PM to ensure readiness.
