Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Manager for its EMS site in the Windber, PA area. You will lead the manufacturing engineering team, optimize SMT/PCBA lines, and drive new product introduction from design to high-yield production.

The role emphasizes lean initiatives, 5S culture, and capital equipment projects with robotics and smart-factory technology. Ideal candidate has 5–8+ years in PCBA EMS, 3+ years in leadership, and familiarity with ISO 9001/AS9100/ISO 13485.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5–8+ years in a high-mix/low-volume PCBA EMS environment.
• At least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Deep knowledge of SMT line configurations, soldering metallurgy, IPC guidelines, and MES.
• Familiar with ISO 9001, AS9100 or ISO 13485 quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Manufacturing and Process Engineers; manage budgets and KPIs.
• Optimize PCBA manufacturing processes including SMT, reflow, selective/wave solder, conformal coating.
• Champion the NPI process from design to high-yield production with robust DFM reviews.
• Oversee capital equipment, automation, and smart-factory initiatives; ensure IQ/OQ/PQ.
• Drive Lean and 5S culture to reduce scrap and improve cycle times.
