Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager for the Windber, PA area. The role leads a manufacturing engineering team, drives NPI transitions, optimizes SMT and PCBA processes, and champions lean initiatives to improve efficiency on high-mix EMS lines.

The position emphasizes robotics, automated equipment, and DS&T practices within a state-of-the-art EMS facility, offering competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
Experience in high-mix/low-volume PCBA EMS environments preferred.
Leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Lead manufacturing and process engineers; manage budgets and KPIs.
Optimize PCB assembly processes (SMT, wave/through-hole, coatings).
Own NPI transitions and DFMs for new products.
Oversee capital equipment, automation, and robotics integration.
Drive Lean/5S and Six Sigma practices to cut scrap and cycle times.
