Job summary

Benchmark in Winona, MN is seeking a full-time Electronics Assembler/Repair Technician to perform both details and routine repair operations on assemblies, routing them to the next operation.

You will work on a second shift with on-line rework, soldering, and documentation tasks. A high school diploma and hand solder certification are required, and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and perform basic math functions.
• PCBA Rework/Repair Certification Checklist.
• General Production Procedures Training.
• PCBA Inspection Certification (except AXI/AVI)
• Ability to read and understand process instructions, schematic drawings and manufacturing routings.

Responsibilities

• Determines which product takes priority based on the defined production guidelines
• Locates and collects parts and materials for current job assignment by cross referencing part number in system
• Performs repairs on boards per procedure and route boards to next operation
• Performs on-line rework/repair duties as necessary
• Performs hand solder operations on assemblies and inspects rework/repairs
• Enters board quantities into automated computer system for on line rework/repair operations
• Maintains a clean work area and follow all safety and ESD practices
• All employees are responsible for the Quality of their work to ensure BEI meets, or exceeds Customer Satisfaction
• This position is safety-sensitive and may involve drug testing as stated in notices

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Hand solder certification required

Read and understand process instructions, schematic drawings and manufacturing routings
